Mark is a 4th generation farmer near Orton. Mark is a dairy farmer and produces over 3.5 million litres of milk per year, from 300 milking cows. On top of milking his dairy cows, Mark and Julie also run a pop-up campsite throughout the Spring/Summer months.

Almost half of the farm's energy consumption is powered through renewable energy sources on farm! Solar panels on top of the shed roof provide 60kw and the wind turbine a further 15kw.

Mark has grazing rights on 4 commons, and is chair of one common. Mark also has a SSSI on his land, it is special due to it being a rare limestone bog.
